• The main motive of the Super 75 Scholarship scheme is to encourage intellectual girls by providing scholarships.
• This scheme benefits the meritorious girls studying medicine, engineering, ITI, and other fields.
• The scheme is about this year’s theme of International Women’s Day, i.e. “Choose to Challenge,” and celebrate Azaadi Ka Amrut Mahotsav- India@75.
• The government has also launched the Tejaswini under Mission Youth Scheme to encourage Women Entrepreneurs.
• Under this Tejaswini Scheme, the government provides financial assistance of 5 lakhs to the girls between the age group of 18 years to 35 years to start their firm.
• Mission Youth will provide 10% of the project cost along with interest.
• Speaking about girls’ increasing enrollment in higher education, the Lt Governor expressed satisfaction in noting that girls’ gross enrollment ratio increased to 50 %.
