Kishore Vaigyanik Prothsahan Yojana (KVPY) is a national-level scholarship program by the National Fellowships for students interested in Research Careers. The students who are pursuing pre- Ph.D. level and interested in the research can apply for the KVPY 2021. Moreover, the KVPY has also released an official notification mentioning all the KVPY Fellowship Award Program details. However, the candidates should attempt a computer-based exam to get qualified for the Fellowship Program.

Eligibility Criteria for KVPY Fellowship 

Let us see the eligibility criteria that an applicant should get eligible for KVPY Fellowship Award 2021.

• For SA Stream, the candidates who enrolled in Class 11th (science stream) must apply for this exam.
• The applicants must pass class 10th with Mathematics & Science subjects with a minimum of 75% and 65% for SC/ST/PWD.
• For SX Stream, the applicants who have taken admission in class 12th (science subjects) can apply.
•  The candidates must score a minimum of 60% (50% for SC/ST/PwD) in Mathematics and Science subjects (PCB) in Class 12th. 
• Applicants also have to obtain at least 75% and 65% in case of SC/ST/PwD in class 10th.
• For SB Stream, the candidates who enrolled in the 1st year of the UG program in Basic Science (Physics/Chemistry/Mathematics & Biology)- B.Sc/BS/B.Math./B.Stat./MS/Int. M.Sc) can apply for this exam. 
• The students must score a minimum of 60% and 50% in the SC/ST/PwD category in the 10+2 examination. 
• In the first year of their final exam in B.Sc/BS/B.Math./B.Stat./MS/Int. M.Sc, the applicants must secure 60% and 50% for SC/ST/PWD.

How to Apply Online for KVPY 2021 

Let us see the online process to apply and online registration for KVPY Fellowship Programme 2021.

• Visit the Official Portal of KVPY.
• It takes the online applicants to the Home Page.
• It then redirects the online users to the following page below.
• Read all the instructions carefully and click on the disclaimer checkbox.

• Click on the Login button for registration and application Login.
• It then takes the online users to the Login Page.

• If you are a new user, click on the Click Here for Registration Link.
• Enter the Name of the Candidate, Date of Birth, and Present Class Joined/Joining during the Academic Year 2021-22, and Stream.
• Enter the Mobile Number, Confirm Mobile Number, Email ID, and Confirm Email ID.
• Select the Nationality and Enter the Captcha Code.

• Click on the Checkbox: I Agree.
• Click on the Register button to finish the Registration Process.
• You can see the below dialogue box.
• Go to the Login Page and Enter the Credentials like User ID and Password.

• It then takes the online users to the dashboard below.
• Click on the Go to Application button at the top to complete the application process.

KVPY Online Application Form

• Select the Gender, Category, and Person with Disability (PWD) Details.
• Under the Contact Information, Enter/Select the Address Line 1, Address Line 2, Address Line 3, State, City, Pin Code, and Telephone Number with STD Code.
• Click on the Save and Next Button.

• It then takes the online users to the following page below.
• Enter/Select the Examination Board, Aggregate Marks in all Science subjects and Mathematics, Date of Joining.

• Also, Enter the Full Name of the School/College, Address Line 1, Address Line 2, Address Line 3, State, City, and Pin Code.
• Click on the Save and Next Button.

• Select the Language, Preferred City 1, Prefered City 2, Prefered City 3, Preferred City 4 on the newly opened page.
• Under the upload documents section, upload a scanned copy of your photo and a scanned copy of your signature.

• Click on the I Agree checkbox and then click on th Submit button.
• Complete the Application Fee Payment Process through the payment gateway and finish the online registration process.
