Eligibility Criteria for the Solar Scheme
Let us see the eligibility criteria for getting eligible for the Kerala Solar Panel Scheme launched by Kerala’s government.
- The applicant must be a permanent resident of Kerala State.
- All the candidates applying for the scheme should have an average monthly consumption of up to 200 units for the project.
- For the Normal Subsidy Model, All Domestic Consumers are eligible for the project.
New User Registration for KSEB Solar Scheme 2024
Let us see the online procedure to Register New User on the Official Portal of KSEB.
- Visit the Official Portal of Kerala Solar Scheme.
- It takes the online user to the Home Page.
- Click on the Sign UP link as shown in the Login.
- It then opens up the Register New User Page.
- In the Consumer Details Section, Enter the Consumer Number and Bill Number.
- In the Login Details Section, Enter the User ID, Password, and Confirm Password.
- In the User Details Section, Enter the Title, Name, Date of Birth, Email ID, Phone Number, Mobile Number, Plot/Flat Number, Street No., Area/Locality, City/Village, and Pin Code.
- Select the Secret Question and Enter the Answer for security purposes.
- Enter the Verification Code.
- Verify all the details and Register Button.
- It then displays the alert Registered Successfully on the newly opened page.

- Visit the Official Portal of Kerala Solar Scheme.
- It takes the online user to the Home Page.
- Click Here to Appy for the Soura Subsidy Scheme.
- It then redirects the online applicant to the below page.
- It then shows the two models (Kerala Model and Normal Subsidy Model).
- Click on any of the Modes to start applying for the Solar Scheme.
- Click on the Apply Now Tab under the two models.
Online Registration Form 2021
- Once after clicking on the Apply Button, the applicants can start registering online for the Kerala KSEB Scheme.
- For Registration, the applicants should enter their personal details, address, bank account details, etc.
Application Fees for the Soura Subsidy Scheme
The applicants applying for the scheme can pay the application fee online on the KSEB Portal.
The candidates should pay an amount of Rupees 1000 as the application fee for both the Kerala Model and Normal Subsidy Model to avail of the benefits of the Soura subsidy Scheme.
