APSRTC Bus pass Application : The Andhra Pradesh State Road Transport corporation (APSRTC) offers online bus pass application facility to all eligible persons. This includes students, General commuters and various other. One can apply online for for ASRTC Bus pass.

APSRTC Bus Pass

The bus passes by APSRTC are offered to people belonging to eligible categories. These include students, Physically handicapped, Freedom fighers, Employee’s children etc.

Before you apply online for apsrtc bus pass, you need to ensure your eligibility. Let’s first understand the elgibility criteria.

Eligibility Criteria for APSRTC Bus Pass

The most common type of bus pass which is enquired about is student bus pass. There are different rules for students according to the institution type as well as according to age.

APSRTC Student Bus Pass

Students below 12 years of Age

Any student below 12 years of age is eligible to get apsrtc bus pass. Many people think that this is applicable for students studying in government schools only, however, that’s not the case. Any student either from government school or private school below 12 years of age is eligible to get APSRTC bus pass.

Girl Students upto Class 10th

Similarily, any girl student studying in any school is eligible to get Andhra pradesh State Road transport’s bus pass facility. The upper age limit is set to be 18 years

Students of High Schools/ Colleges

Students above 12 years studying in various schools/colleges or any other similar institutions authorized by Govt. of Andhra Or State government can apply for monthly passes. These passes are valid for a maximum distance of 50 KM (for college students) and 20 KM (For Higher educational institutions)

Bus Pass for Cities/Town Students

The students studying in colleges located in cities / towns minimum of 4 KMs. to 22 KMs. maximum. distance from their residence can get the bus pass.

Physically Handicapped – Any physically handicapped person with valid PH certificate can easily obtain APSRTC bus pass.

APSRTC Bus Pass Online Application 2024 – How to Apply

Now that you know about the various types of bus passes, let’s proceed towards the online application process.

• Go to online apsrtcpass portal
• On the homepage, go to section 3 – “Click here for Fresh Registration”

As soon as you do this, you see two options:

APSRTC Bus Pass Online Application for Student Pass Above SSC

if you have passed SSC, use the “Student pass above SSC” option. The online application form looks likes this:

• First of all, enter your board type. Then choose if regular or supplementary.
• Then providing SSC passing year, hall ticket number, Date of birth etc.
• Now, in the student details section, Provide asked details.
• The student also needs to upload his/her photo. You can click live photo using webcam or simply upload photo, if you have one.
• Similarily continue filling the form by providing address details, institutionald details & Route details.
• Then enter the captcha code and click on “Submit”

APSRTC Bus Pass Online Application for Student Pass Below SSC

The students below ssc need to click on the option “Student pass application below SSC”.

The online application form looks like this:

• Fill in the asked details in the Student details, Residential Address, school details, route details.
• Upload live photo or upload
• After entering all the details correctly, enter the captcha code and click on “Submit”

Once you click on “Submit” you entered details are presented on the screen for final confirmation. Take a look and make sure everything is correct. Only then, click on the “ok” button.

After this, you temporary ID is generated and appears on the screen.

The candidate must note down the temporary ID and click on it to take the print out of the filled application form.

APSRTC Bus Pass : How to Print Application

You can also take the print out later on, using these steps.

• Go to print application form.

• Enter your application ID and enter captcha code.
• Then click on “Submit”
• Now the filled in form appears, you can save it as pdf and take print out. Or if you have printed attached, you can directly take the print of this form.

Now, to finalize the APSRTC Student bus pass application process, you need to attach relevant documents with your application and submit to nearest bus pass issuing center. Kindly refer to the counter list section for the list of counters.

If you need to renew your existing bus pass, you can do so by following these steps:

• Go to online apsrtc pass portal.
• Click on Option 2 i.e. “Click here for Last academic year students”

• In the next page, choose the relevant information

• You need to choose from – previous od number, online registered id, mobile number, name, aadhaar number or email id.

• After this your details appear on the screen
• On the same page you have a link to register for next session.
• Click on it and complete the APSRTC bus pass online renewal application
