In a recent remove, the West Bengal Government has launched another welfare scheme for the people in the state. The scheme is named as West Bengal Karmai Dharma Scheme for the youth. Through this initiation, the government distribute two lakhs motorcycles for the youth in the state. The beneficiaries will get a loan from the co-operative banks under this scheme. The scheme is a part of recently announced Karma Sakthi Prokolpo Yojana. Moreover, CM claims that projects like these will reduce the unemployment rate in the state.

- The Karmai Dharma Scheme is a self-employment scheme designed for youths.
- In this scheme, around 2 lakh youths would be provided with one motorbike each.
