YSR Cheyutha Scheme is announced in the recent cabinet meeting. This scheme is introduced by CM YS Jagan Mohan Reddy. Aim of AP Govt’s YSR Cheyutha Pension Scheme:

The main motive of Cheyutha Scheme of Andhra Pradesh is to empower women. The beneficiaries of this scheme are the women under SC / ST and other backward classes. This scheme aims at providing equal power to the women of minority caste same as the women of higher class own.  The Financial benefit of Rs. 75000 is to be provided to those women who come under 45 to 60 years of age.

 If the women are under any job, this scheme will be applicable only after the retirement of the job of the women.

As per the official sources, Andhra Pradesh State Government has announced has transferred an amount of 18,750 to the beneficiaries account. The rest of the beneficiaries can expect the payment very soon this week.

Latest Announcement on YSR Cheyutha Scheme 2021

As per the latest cabinet meeting held recently, the state government has announced the good news to the women of Andhra Pradesh. The news is that the YS Jagan Mohan Reddy’s government is going to extend the beneficiaries of the previously announced “YSR Cheyutha Scheme”.

During the earlier announcement, it was said that the women who belong to SC/ST/BC/Minorities were only eligible under this scheme. However, after the recent cabinet meeting, it has been announced that the Andhra Pradesh Government is extending this scheme to the women who are already taking the pensions under Ontari Mahila (Single Woman), Vithanthu Pension (Widow Pension) and the Specially challenged women (Divyanga Mahila) who are aged between  45 to 60 years are eligible now after the recent announcement.

NOTE: The Old age pensioners are not eligible for this scheme as the age group of the applicant woman should be in between 45 and 60.

Besides, the scheme is also extended to the women who belong to Chenetha ( Weavers), Geetha (Stripe), Mathsyakaara Mahilalu (Fisherman Community Women).

Benefits of AP YSR Cheyutha Scheme:

  • Pension of rupees 75000 will be provided to the women beneficiary cover under the YSR Cheyutha scheme of Andhra Pradesh.
  • The amount of pension will be distributed in four equal installments of Rs. 18750 each Per Year. The amount will be transferred to the bank accounts of the beneficiary party.
  • For the benefit of women, the scheme has been enhanced. With the pension amount of rupees 75000,  women will be going to get the economic benefits from the Government of Andhra Pradesh. The beneficiary includes the women under the very low-income group and backward economic conditions.

Eligibility Criteria for Applying YSR Cheyutha:

  • The applicant woman should be aged between 45 – 60 years old and should be a permanent resident of Andhra Pradesh
  • The total family income should be under 10000 Rs for Woman who is living in the Rural Areas and the family income should be less than 12000 Rs for the woman who is living in urban areas
  • Total land holding should not be more than 3 Acres of WetLand or 10 Acres of Dry Land
  • No person in the family should be a government employee
  • The applicant family shouldn’t have four-wheeler (Taxi, Auto, and Tractor are exempted from this)

 Required Documents

  • Address proof – The woman needs to attach the address proof where she lives while forming filling the application form for the YSR Cheyutha scheme of Andhra Pradesh.
  • Caste Certificate – According to this scheme, the women of backward caste going to get the benefit. There should be a cast certificate to be attached by the women of minority class to take the benefit.
  • Age proof – This scheme has been applied only for the women to cover under the age of 45 to 60 years. Thus, age proof should be attached while filling the application form.
  • Aadhar card – While filling the application form, Unique Identity card should be attached. It is the basic proof of the identity of a person.
  • Passbook details – When the pension amount will be transferred to the bank account the information related to the bank account will be necessary. The passbook details would be mandatory.
  • Photograph – A photograph should be attached while filling the application form.
  • Domicile certificate – Certificate related to the domicile or resident of the state or union territory should be attached.
  • Mobile number – For the regular updates and messages related to the status of the scheme, the beneficiary needs to share the mobile number while filling the application form.

Apply for YSR Cheyutha Scheme 2021 Online

The eligible women who belong to the above-mentioned categories can apply to this scheme in offline

  • For applying to the scheme, the applicants need to produce the documents like Caste Certificate, Aadhaar Card, Income Certificate, Domicile Certificate, Bank Account Pass Book Details, Age Proof, Mobile Number and Passport-sized Photograph
  • After making sure that you have all the necessary documents, you have to hand over the necessary documents to the Graama Volunteer of the assigned geographical area
  • After collecting the documents, the Graama Volunteer collects and scrutinizes all the documents for the eligibility criteria
  • All the eligible applicants are sorted out and the Graama Sachivalayam personnel will finalize the beneficiaries after the re-verification

NOTE: As the process is offline, the respective applicants have to be in contact with the Graama Sachivaalayam if need any other documents or for future correspondence.

  • As promised, the Andhra Pradesh Government has released the amount of 18,750 Rupees to the accounts of beneficiaries
  • It heard that a few of the beneficiaries have already received the amount to their bank accounts, and the rest of the beneficiaries can expect soon this week
  • However, the Grama Volunteers are informing about the cash transfer beneficiaries on the phone call
