MO Ghara Yojana
Everybody wants a strong and reliable house. Economically weaker families somehow manage to build Kachha houses. These houses are not durable and prone to accidents in extreme weather conditions.
Under the RH Odisha’s new initiative, “Mo Ghara”, such Kacha houses will be identified and converted to Pakka houses.
On May 29th, the Odisha Government launched this new housing scheme. It brought hope to the current Kutcha house owners of the state. RH Odisha MO Ghara Scheme 2023
The new ‘MO GHARA’ (Government Housing Assistance in Rural Areas) plan aims to help rural households build pucca houses by giving them enough money. The State Panchayati Raj & Drinking Water Department will carry out the plan. It will let people in rural areas build new homes and improve or add on to the ones they already have so they can live safely.

Mo Ghara Odisha: Eligibility
The RH Odisha department has recently released the guidelines of the Mo Ghara scheme. The most important thing to understand here is the mo ghara eligibility, i.e. who can take advantage of the scheme. Let’s understand this in-depth:
✅ All households in Odisha living in rural areas are eligible for this scheme except the ones listed below.
The following are not eligible:
❌ Family with a Monthly income of Rs. 25,000 or more are not eligible
❌ Any family with a four-wheeler (non-commercial) is not eligible
❌ If any family member is a government employee, that household is not eligible for the MO ghara housing scheme
❌ Those living in a pucca house with 2 or more rooms with RCC roofs.
❌ Any households who have availed financial Assistance of Rs. 70,000 or more under any of the Government of Odisha housing schemes is not eligible.
❌ If the applicant owns 5 acres or more of irrigated land or 15 acres or more of non-irrigated land, then he/she is not eligible.

Under this scheme, loans will be given to the beneficiaries. On the loan amount, the government will give a subsidy. The subsidy amount depends on the Applicant’s category and loan amount.

Odisha MO Ghara Yojana 2023 Beneficiary List Check
The concerned department releases the beneficiaries’ list as soon as the application deadline completes.
Before the mo odisha list is released, all the received applications will be carefully scrutinized. Incorrect or incomplete applications will be rejected (or asked for correction). After this process, the final beneficiary list is released. It will be made public so anybody can download the pdf file and check the names in the mo ghara yojana List.
