How to register complaint against any bank to ombudsman, Online or Offline
Let us see the online procedure to register a complaint against a bank using the official portal of RBI.
- Visit the Official Portal of RBI CMS.
- It takes the online applicant to the Home Page below.

- Click on the File a Complaint tab on the following page.
- It then redirects the online users to the next web page below.
- Select the Type of Entity on the newly opened page.

- Here we have selected the option as a bank.
- Enter the Mobile Number, Area of Operation of BO, State, District, and Bank Name.

- Answer Yes/No for the question: Is the complaint related to a credit card?
- Select/Enter Bank Category, Bank Branch Name, Name of the Complainant, and Email.
- Click on the Next button.
- It then takes the online applicant to the next page.
- Answer Yes/No for the below questions, as shown below.

- On the next page, answer few more questions.
- Enter/Select the Date of Complaint, Complaint Category, Ground of Complaint, Description.

- Answer the question: Have you received a reply from the bank.
- Click on the Next Button.
- On the next page, enter the Complainant details such as Name, Gender, Age, Category, Email, Mobile Number, Telephone Number, and Address.

- Click on the Next Button.
- Enter the Bank Details on the next page like Name, Branch Name, Centre, State, District, Urban Category, Nodal Officer Name, Address, and Date of the disputed transaction and other details.

- Click on the Next Button.
- On the Next Page, Select/Enter the Account Category, Account Sub-Category, and Bank Account Number.

- Click on the Declaration Checkbox at the end and click on the Next button.

- Click on Yes under the Nomination Question and click on the Next button.

- Enter the Captcha Code and click on the Next button.

- It then successfully registers the complaint against the concerned bank.
