Free Gas Cylinder Ujjwala Yojana
To woo the public in UP, the BJP had made a total of 130 promises in its election manifesto. However, BJP had called them a resolution because of the promise, that is, the double guarantee of fulfilling them. There was also a promise in this to give free gas cylinders till Holi to the beneficiaries of Ujjwala Yojana. But now this promise may overwhelm the government. Actually, at present, the price of a domestic gas cylinder is Rs 937.50. In this way, to fulfill this promise, the government will have to spend about 1400 crores. Just spending this huge amount so quickly can prove to be a big challenge for Yogi.
