Who is eligible to obtain New ration card in Odisha
Let us see the eligibility criteria that an applicant should fulfill to qualify for applying for the Ration Card Online in Odisha.
- The applicant should be a permanent resident of Odisha State.
- He/She should belong to the weaker sections or low-income category.
- The applicant should carry all the documents necessary for the application procedure.

Apply Online for New Food Odisha Ration Card (NFSA & SFSS) @ foododisha.in
- Visit the official portal of PDS Odisha.
- It takes the online application to the Home Page.
- On the Home Page, Select the Online Services and then select the Citizen Services.
- It then takes the applicant to the Citizen Services Page.
- Select the Apply New Card from the NFSA Section.
- It then takes the candidate to the registration form below.
- In the present residential address section, enter the district, block, ward, village, plot number, and pin code details.
- Click on the check box if your residential address is the same as the permanent address.
- If not, enter the new address details in the permanent address section.
- Enter the duration of stay in years and months.
- Click on the Next Button.
- In the ration card and fps section, enter the ration card type.
- Please provide FPS details from where you are taking PDS items or want to take if you dont have a Ration Card.
- Enter the FPS Name and Code for Rice, Wheat, and SK Oil.
- The applicant can also select the combination of grains up to 5kgs.
- The online users can also change the FPS by entering the proposed FPS code.
- In the family member’s details section, Add the Full Name, Gender, Date of Birth, Relationship with Eldest Lady of the Family, EPIC No., Aadhar Number, Aadhar Enrollment Number, Father Name & Spouse Name.
- The applicant can also delete a family member here in the form by selecting the Delete Family Member Button.
- Click on the Next Button.
- In the other information, enter the details such as Distribution Company, Electricity Consumer No, Oil Company, LPG Consumer No, Proof of Residence, Mobile No, Auto Inclusion Criteria, AI Member,
- Enter Bank IFSC Code, A/C Holder Name, Electrical Division, Electricity Connection Owner, LPG Distributor, LPG Connection Owner, Proof of Identity, Name of Mobile Owner, Auto Inclusion Criteria Proof, Bank Name, and Account Number.
- Click on the Save and Print Acknowledgement for future reference.
- The applicants can follow the similar procedure to apply for the SFSS Ration Card Online.
- In the SFSS section, click on the Apply New Card.
- Fill in all the details, as explained above.
ADD/Delete Member in Odisha Ration Card Online

- Visit the Odisha Food e-Service Page.
- It then opens up the below page.
- In the NFSA Section, Click on the Addition of Member.
- It then opens up the below page.
- In the family member’s details section, Add the Full Name, Gender, Date of Birth, Relationship with Eldest Lady of the Family, EPIC No., Aadhar Number, Aadhar Enrollment Number, Father Name & Spouse Name.
- Enter the family members and click on the Update button.
- It then adds the member to the existing ration card.
- In the SFSS Section, Click on the Addition of Member.
- It then displays the above page.
- Enter the Ration Card Number and Click on the Get Details.
- It displays the existing details.
- Then the applicants can add the details of the respective member.
- The applicants can now delete the member by clicking the Delete Member in the NFSA Ration Card Section.
- It displays the below page.
- Enter the Ration Card Number.
- Click on the Get Details, and it displays the existing details.
- Then the applicants can delete the details of the respective member.
- The deletion process of the member in the ration card remains the same for the SFSS Section also.
