Dr. Sanjay Mukherjee VC & MD of CIDCO recently told the media that COVID warriors have played a vital role in this Pandemic. He also said that CIDCO along with the state government has launched a special housing scheme for COVID warriors to express their Gratitude.
CIDCO has confirmed the Special COVID warriors housing scheme recently through a tweet:
The staff of various government departments can avail of the benefits of this scheme. The beneficiaries include staff of government departments concerned with the patient survey, patient tracking, prevention, testing, treatment, and support activities, Covid-related health workers, and other staff (district administration, police, home guards, Anganwadi workers, finance and treasury, food and civil supplies, water supply and sanitation, house-to-house survey assignment employees of various departments, etc) as well as all contractual/ outsourced/ daily wages/ad-hoc/ honorarium-based staff who were deployed for Covid-related duties.

CIDCO Special Lottery Registration, Apply Online
The registration process for this special housing scheme is similar to other housing schemes. Firstly make sure that you register at the official CIDCO Lottery portal. Here is the user registration process:
- Visit the Official portal @lottery.cidcoindia.com
- Click on the “Register” button to get started
- This opens up the user registration page, enter the required information and get registered
- Once registered, you need to log in to get started
- Enter your username and password and complete the login process
- Now, at the dashboard, you will see a link to apply for CIDCO Special housing scheme
