Assam TET 2021 apply online, registration form at cetcell portal is live now. Interested and eligible aspirants need to fill in the online form before the last date. Before applying, take a look at the attached notification, download the syllabus as pdf.

Recently, a circular was released on the official website of the Education Board of Assam regarding the announcement of the Assam TET exam 2021.

For those who don’t know, TET, the Teachers’ Eligibility Test, is a state-level exam organized nationwide by the SSA (Sarva Siksha Abhiyan). The exam is conducted yearly and has two papers: Upper Primary and Lower Primary. The sum total of vacancies available this year is 21,921. Aspirants can either choose one or can apply for both exams if they want.

According to the circular, the TET exams are going to be held in the month of October, and the registrations for the same have started from today. The circular also read that the last date to apply is the 25^th of September and the admit cards will be available online by the 15^th of October while the exams will be held on the 24^th of October.

TET Assam Eligibility criteria/qualification details:

Note: Both Lower primary and Upper primary have different sets of criteria, hence please read the following part very carefully.

Lower Primary:

Criteria 1:

• The student must have an SSC certificate (or any equivalent) with 50% and a 2-year diploma in Elementary Education.
• The student must have an SSC certificate (or any equivalent) with 50% and a 4-year Bachelors in Elementary Education (BELED).
• The student must have an SSC certificate (or any equivalent) with 50% and a 2-year Diploma in Education.
• Graduation and 2-year Diploma in Education.
• Graduation with 50% and B.Ed from an NCTE recognized institution.

Criteria 2: Students with admit cards of the final year of the Teacher’s Education Course (from an NCTE or RCI recognized institution) can apply too, but they’ll require to clear all their qualifications before applying for the job.

Upper Primary:

Criteria 1:

• Graduation with 50%, Post Graduation and B.Ed from an NCTE recognized institution.
• Graduation and 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education.
• The student must have an SSC certificate (or any equivalent) with 50% and a 4-year Bachelors in Elementary Education (B.El.Ed).
• The student must have an SSC certificate (or any equivalent) with 50% and a 4-year Ba/BSc. Ed. or Ba.Ed/ BSc. Ed.
• Graduation with 50% and 1-year B.Ed.

Note: Minimum mark of Graduations not applicable to those who have already been admitted in B.Ed. or B.El.Ed.

• Log on to the official website: https://cetcell.net/TET_2021/?r

• Click on the Registration button and it will redirect you to another page.
• On the page where it reads Steps For Application Form, you’re to read every step calmly. Please register the instruction in your mind before clicking on the Next button.

• The Application form is divided into six categories as follows:

• Candidates personal Information

• As the name suggests, this form will require you to submit your personal information along with what kind of exam you’re applying for.

• Then there’s Zone/Distrcit/Subject/Medium/Language form:

• One should be very precarious while filling in these details as a small mistake might lead to a huge blunder later.
• The third detail is about the reservation:

• Education Qualification: carelessness in filling this form at times leads to the rejection of the application, more often than not.

• Next is uploading your photograph and Signature:

• Remember, while uploading, the size of your photo should be less than 35KB and that of your signature should be 30KB.

• Another one of the most important stages is generating password:

• Once you have done that you can check on the declaration and then apply.
• After submitting your application you’re supposed to return to the home page and Log-in using the credentials you generated previously.
• The Log-in process will provide you access to the dashboard where you’ll be able to see the payment option. Using it, you have to pay your requisite fees and then save the acknowledgment receipt.
